14 - Fall Farm Day at Gail's Pumpkin Patch, 1-5pm. 1709 2000th Ave., Beason, IL.  Pumpkin & face painting, farm tour, old fashioined barn games, crafts, barrel train, live bees & goats.  FREE  Call 217-447-3409 for more information.

18 - Kids Reading & Art NightCool Ceramics.  Ceramic animal painting.  6:30-7:30PM.  Open to children 3rd grade and older.  Cost $5.00 for small objects/$10.00 for medium-sized objects.  Sign up at the Library by September 15.

20 - Lincoln Railsplitting Festival, 10am - 5pm.  Atlanta's Quilting Corner and United Methodist Women will showcase quilt frame-building and Hexagon piecing, and will offer quilting demonstrations as part of the Festival.  Quilt Challenge:  Create twin-sized quilt on site during Festival hours for donation to local charities.  Quilts must be completed by 2pm on September 21.  Judging begins at 2pm on the 21st.  Registration required.
