26 - Atlanta Needlework Guild Workshop, 10AM - 3PM. Atlanta Community House basement. Goal is to create 100 each winter hats and scarves for Home Sweet Home Ministries homeless shelter in Bloomington. Bring your lunch, needles, hooks and favorite (easy/fast) patterns. 10 - Atlanta United Methodist Church Winter Wear Blessing of Warmth, 10AM - noon. Atlanta Methodist Church, corner of Second & Race Streets. Free will offering will be accepted for your selected items. If you would like to donate items for distribution, the church will gladly accept clean, gently used coats, boots, gloves, hats and scarves in all sizes. Items should be left inside the church.
